Cau Có means grumpy, and every face he draws looks it: heavy eyelids, a flat mouth, red cheeks. But he only draws people he admires. The cook who has made the same bowl for forty years, the auntie who tells you to sit down and eat, the bartender who never hurries. The grumpier the face, the bigger the respect.
