Cọ Khô means dry brush. He paints faces fast, with a dry brush and too many colours: green in the shadows, violet in the hair, pink wherever it feels right. Baristas mid-pour, xe ôm drivers mid-grumble, aunties mid-laugh. The city is a crowd of faces, and none of them are posing.
